Rehberg Votes Against Tax Relief for Main Street

Posted Dec 09, 2009

The House considered estate tax relief for farmers, ranchers and small businesses.  Congressman Rehberg voted NO.  Once again the Rehberg politics of NO appeared.

Rehberg just doesn't understand that small businesses, farmers, and ranchers work hard in part to leave their businesses to the next generation.  At our ranch we're turning the operation over to our children.  Earlier today, Rehberg's vote was a poke in the eye to farmers and ranchers across Montana.

McDonald stated, "I'm not surprised.  He was given a ranch, fully stocked with a full line of equipment, and he sold it all.  He has no appreciation of working hard to turn a small business over to the next generation.  Maybe when your net worth is $60 million you forget your heritage."
