We have an election coming up, and I’ve yet to hear our sole-and-only congressional Representative Dennis Rehberg say a gosh darn thing about the Supreme Court ruling. You’d think he’d have something to say – considering the clear example presented in Montana history, yet alone our very own state laws and constitution – but I guess that big oil money is more important to him than the sanctity of our election process.Posted Nov 25, 2009

Earlier this year, when given a clear choice between supporting new clean energy jobs for Montana or continuing to line the pockets of the big oil companies, Rep. Denny Rehberg sided with Big Oil.
Rehberg voted against a comprehensive clean energy jobs bill that would tap American ingenuity to jump-start technological advances and create more clean American power. He voted against the American Clean Energy and Security Act, which passed the U.S. House with bipartisan support.

High Country News has a chart in its October 26 issue highlighting the wealthiest Western Congressfolk. There’s only one Montanan on the list of the 50 richest: Rep. Denny Rehberg.

In the past week alone, we've seen one man who is accused of two counts of vehicular homicide while driving intoxicated, and one man who was convicted of the same felony, both get arrested for a subsequent drunken driving charge.
